Discos Peligrosa, the label arm of Austin’s most crucial Latin fusion dance party, is setting up Peligrosa House at the North Door during South by Southwest week. Peligrosa House will present four days of free, unofficial showcases from March 15-18.
“I have two rooms so at any given point there will be something Peligrosa-y,” Orion Garcia, founder of Discos Peligrosa and a member of the powerhouse DJ collective said Wednesday. Garcia says the party will also support a variety of other underground scenes like footwork, grime and jersey club. He’ll says we can expect to see a lot of quality acts from around the state in the mix too.
